Anyone who wants to review their primal family relationships, now, as an adult. Different issues will alert us to the need to do this :
Inner emptiness, anxiety, shame, drifting through life, feeling fatherless, acting out a role, living behind a mask, issues with authority figures, passivity, control,
co-dependency, issues with work colleagues, can’t say “no”, loneliness, low self esteem, rejection, stuck in unhelpful relationships, isolating, rage, self harming etc..
In the Beginning runs over Monday evenings and the occasional Saturday between April and June. The dates for the 2011 course are yet to be confirmed. Please contact the office for more information.

Usually over ten weekly evening sessions. The ideal is to participate in a locally run course because the worship, the teaching and the prayer in small groups are all essential elements of the healing process. However, you can buy the workbook for yourself and use it for private study, taking as much time as you need and receiving prayer in church or with a prayer triplet or prayer partner. It can also be used by home or study groups provided you include prayer ministry. See the Resources page.
Leading this course requires attendance on an In the Beginning leadership training, being able to personally fulfil our leadership requirements and involves building and training a local team. We usually suggest that you go through the course once as a team to discover the giftings in the team and to familiarise yourselves with the material and then open it to new participants after that.
Yes, we can come and run a sample weekend of some of the teaching sessions with ministry in a main group or possibly in small groups. This gives you a taste of what the course covers.
N.B. We usually require a minimum of 40 people to attend but we can discuss your particular requirements.
